What is Psychotherapy/Counselling?

Psychotherapy aka talk-therapy, is a collaborative process that helps you find the best version of yourself through processing difficult emotions, thoughts, and experiences. In psychotherapy, you will learn how to confront, understand, and cope with difficult emotions while strengthening the mind-body connection. The goal is to help you find the behaviours, choices, actions, and reactions that YOU want to exude and increase your quality of life. This may include enhancing the relationships you have with others and most importantly your relationship with yourself.

What to expect?

Therapy looks a little different for everyone. There is no one size fits all. Through the therapeutic relationship, we will work together towards your desired goals. You can expect to explore, discover, uncover, process, learn, and apply to your life what you learn from our work together. Whether you are looking for a non-judgemental and safe space to let it all out, or you are looking for someone to challenge you and provide you with the education and skills... we cater our approach to each individual that we work with.


We understand that taking this step can be overwhelming. We want to remind you that there's always hope! Similar to waves in the ocean, we can't choose the frequency or depth of what comes our way but CAN choose how we steer our ship. We are incredibly passionate about the work we do and are here to support you.

We take an integrative, somatic, and holistic approach to therapy. By looking through the lens of both the mind AND body, we seek out creative ways to help you get unstuck. Pulling from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Expressive Arts, and Yoga, all sessions are client-centered, customized, and collaborative.

Who we work with

We work with teens and adults ages 16+.

We provide all-inclusive support and are LGBTQ2S+ allied.

Sessions are 50 minutes in length and conducted via secure video platforming or via phone.

We offer free15-minute phone consultations to ensure the therapeutic fit is right, and provide you with an opportunity to ask any questions.

**Psychotherapy and counselling services may be covered by your insurance. Please check with your provider for more details regarding your coverage.

**We hold a limited number of spaces for sliding scale (reduced cost) therapy. Please contact for more details and availability.
