Practicum Placement

Accepting applications for Jan 2024 to be reviewed in Sept.

Requirements

Must be in the process of completing a master's level program in counselling or psychology.
Registration with the CRPO or in-progress.
Counselling or related experience (preferred).
Training in the arts or yoga (preferred).
Seeking self-motivated, genuine and compassionate applicants.
LGBTQ2S+ and BIPOC allied.

About the placement

Work within a holistic and eclectic practice.
Small and supportive team environment.
Virtual placement serving clients across Ontario.
Gain experience learning the in's and out's of private practice.
Detailed training on-boarding.
Work with client aged 16+
Opportunities to work with a variety of different client issues and concerns as well as a variety of modalities and approaches.
Team meetings and peer support.
Secure video software provided.
Advertising and email address provided.
Must be available for up to 10 hours of direct client contact per week.

***Please note that supervision is not included in practicum placements at Steph Paolucci Wellness. Students are responsible for seeking external supervision at their own expense. Steph Paolucci Wellness will provide a list of preferred supervisors including low cost supervision options.
