Requirements
-
Must be in the process of completing a master's level program in counselling psychology.

Registration with the CRPO or in-progress.

Counselling or related experience (preferred).

Training in the arts or yoga (preferred).

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, genuine and passionate.

LGBTQ2S+ and BIPOC allied.
About the placement:

Virtual placement serving clients aged 16+ across Ontario.

Approved practicum site with Yorkville University.

Holistic and eclectic approach.

Small and supportive team environment.

Gain experience learning the in's and out's of private practice.

Detailed training and onboarding.

Team meetings and peer support.

Opportunities to work with a variety of different client issues and concerns as well as a variety of modalities and approaches.

Secure video software and email provided.

Must be available for up to 10 hours of direct client contact per week.
***External supervision is required at the student's expense. However, Flexible Minds will provide students with a list of supervisors offering affordable supervision rates.
