VANIA CHOPRA

Vania is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and has recently completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. 

 

Vania has trained in mindfulness-based approaches including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and draws on her 14 years of experience as a certified yoga and fitness instructor to bring a holistic wellness focus to counselling.

 

Vania strives to help clients make sense of their experience, to capitalize on their strengths, and to re-connect to their purpose. In addition to working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, shame, grief and chronic pain, Vania’s previous 20+ years of industry experience has informed her special knowledge of workplace mental health issues, including stress, burnout, and work transitions.
